Premier Boarding Facility We’ve prided ourselves on the holistic approach of caring for your four-legged family members. Our talented team is committed to the care of your dog by utilizing top of the line products and protocols. We keep our dog boarding facility in top condition through the implementation of state of the art cleaning technology and practices. Urban Mutt Retreat strives to keep your companion happy, healthy and engaged so they can enjoy their stay with us!

If your pet requires special medicine, it is not a problem for us to dispense it as long as it is in its original packaging with your dogs name and proper dosage information. Climate controlled rooms equipped for dogs of all types, including those who have anxiety or other phobias Clean, cozy, private indoor suites with a raised hammock bed available If your dog is dog social, he will enjoy the freedom to play with others during the play times daily and during the evening. We encourage you to bring your dogs food. We do have a supply of food here for an additional cost if needed. In order to provide the best care and safety for your animal & the protection of the other animals on property, we only board healthy, flea free dogs who are current on all vaccines with proof from your veterinarian. It is advised that your animal be current on heart worm and flea meds for the protection of your animal & the other animals boarding at the facility. We accept no responsibility if fleas or ticks are discovered on your dog upon pick up

Know Before You Go

If this is the first time that your fur baby will be with us, we recommend that you bring them in on a day prior to your scheduled boarding time so that we can evaluate their disposition and allow them to get familiar with their getaway. If you’re interested in seeing what your dog’s getting up to while you’re away, we do provide ways to connect with your loved one.

Cost of a Bungalow

  • $45 – [Indoor Only Bungalow]
  • $55/night [Indoor/Outdoor Bungalow]
  • $25 for each additional dog in the same suite, $30 for indoor/outdoor

How am I charged?

You are charged for the night you drop your dog off regardless of the time of day your dog is dropped off.
You are not charged for the day of departure if you pick your dog up before 12 noon.
You will be charged a daycare fee if you pick up after 12 noon. To avoid any additional daycare charges, please pick up your pet before 12 noon.

Holiday Deposits

The deposit required to book during a holiday or peak period is $60 per Suite
Any booking that falls into the peak or holiday periods below will be subject to a holiday deposit which will then be deducted from your final bill.  Holiday deposits are strictly NON REFUNDABLE & NON TRANSFERABLE – no exceptions. Your booking is confirmed only after we have received your deposit.

Enrichment or Extras

  • Bathing: $15-40
  • Food Provided by UMR: $5/day/dog
  • Treats Provided by UMR: $2/day/dog
  • ​Comfort Kong: $1/day/dog
  • Specialty Baked/Seasonal Treats: $5/day/dog
  • Bully Bones: $2/day/dog
  • Food Toppers: $1/day/dog, choice of pumpkin-chicken, chicken or beef

Vaccine Requirements

  • Canine Rabies-1yr or 3yr vaccine
  • DHPP-1yr or 3yr
  • Bordetella 6mo or 1yr
  • Canine influenza recommended but not required
